2001-02-22: NetBSD/sun3 switches to ELF: NetBSD/sun3 is now using ELF as its native object file format in -current. An ELF snapshot is available in the NetBSD/sun3 snapshot area of the ftp server. Also available are instructions for upgrading from this snapshot or from source.

2000-10-21: sun3x pmap fix: A long-standing pmap bug which causes "out of space kmem_map" panic on sun3x is now fixed.

2000-07-18: First 1.4.3_ALPHA snapshot: The first sun3 1.4.3_ALPHA snapshot, based off of 1.4.3 sources as of 2000-07-08, is now available in the NetBSD/sun3 snapshot area of the ftp server. (snapshot deprecated. NetBSD 1.4.3 was released on November 25th, 2000)

1999-06-23: New sun3 portmaster: Nathan Williams takes over from Gordon Ross, who was the sun3 port maintainer for several years.

May 12, 1999: NetBSD-1.4 released: The NetBSD 1.4 release supports sixteen architectures, and was distributed free by Usenix to all 1999 ATC attendees.
